A growing structural engineering consultancy is looking for a Structural Engineer to join its team, working on a varied portfolio of residential and commercial projects.
The role will include:
- Structural design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber.
- Preparing structural calculations, reports and specifications.
- Carrying out structural inspections and site surveys.
- Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and Building Control.
- Coordinating drawings and managing projects from instruction through to completion.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and relevant consultancy experience. You should be confident managing straightforward projects independently and communicating directly with clients and other construction professionals.
Tekla Tedds experience is highly desirable, with Tekla Structural Designer and AutoCAD also advantageous. Chartered status is not essential, with support available towards professional qualification.
