Operate boilers, turbines, pumps and associated plant. Carry out start-ups, shutdowns, isolations and return-to-service activities. Act as Senior Authorised Person (SAP). Support maintenance activities and coordinate contractors. Respond to plant abnormalities and emergencies. Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance. The successful candidate: Experience in EfW, power generation, process or heavy industrial plant. DCS experience – essential. SAP authorisation/experience – essential. Experience with boilers and rotating plant. Strong safety, leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience with Safe Systems of Work and risk assessments. NEBOSH/IOSH desirable.
