Our client, a well-established Energy from Waste operator, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Maidstone. The role focuses on maintaining plant reliability, managing electrical projects, and supporting safe and efficient operations across a complex industrial site.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Managing electrical projects from concept through to installation, commissioning, and handover at the Maidstone facility
- Maintaining high voltage systems, including transformers and switchgear, ensuring reliability and compliance
- Ensuring statutory inspections and testing are completed in line with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Supporting maintenance strategies through CMMS systems and planned preventative maintenance activities
- Assisting with plant upgrades, outages, and continuous improvement across the Maidstone site
What experience you need:
- Proven track record as an Electrical Engineer within Energy from Waste, Power, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of high voltage systems, transformers, and switchgear within a Maidstone or similar industrial setting
- Experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion
- Understanding of maintenance strategies, fault finding, and root cause analysis
- Relevant engineering qualification (degree preferred) with strong practical experience
Salary / Hours / Benefits:
- £52,000 - £66,000 depending on experience
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
