Our client, a leading industrial Energy from Waste facility, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician / Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team in Gloucestershire. You’ll maintain and repair key equipment including boilers, steam turbines, conveyors and rotating machinery, ensuring safe and efficient plant operation.
Salary: £48,675 plus excellent benefits
Hours of work: 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Location: Gloucestershire

Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance (PPM)
- Fault finding on plant and rotating equipment
- Support outages, shutdowns and contractor work
- Complete records using CMMS
- Produce RAMS and follow HSE procedures
- Assist with continuous improvement and reliability
The successful candidate:
- Experience as a Mechanical Technician / Fitter / Maintenance Engineer
- Background in power generation, EfW, CCGT, biomass, oil & gas or heavy industry
- Strong fault-finding and mechanical skills
- Knowledge of HSE and safe systems of work
- CMMS experience desirable
- Time served would be an advantage but not essential
