Our client is looking for an experienced time served Maintenance Handyperson to join their building maintenance division, supporting one of their largest customers in Bodmin/Exeter and the Southwest.
- £30,000 pa plus very well-paid overtime and bonus payments
- Holiday pay and company pension
- Van and fuel card provided for you
- Days - 40 hour working week
- Permanent role
Principal Duties:
- Planned building maintenance and repair work
- Straightforward carpentry maintenance
- Changing locks, handles, latches
- Basic electrical repair (changing a strip light or a plug)
- Plumbing repair - repairing blockages and leaks, changing taps, sinks etc
- Outdoor maintenance work - maintaining grounds, basic tarmacking, fencing and concreting
All applicants must have the following:
- Proven experience in straightforward multi skilled maintenance and repair work
- Previous experience as a maintenance engineer or handyperson or repair and maintenance operative
- Experience in estimating maintenance and repair work
- Good relevant health & safety knowledge
- Full UK Driving licence
