Our client, a leading Specialist Manufacturer, is looking to recruit a Head of Technical for their prestigious site based in Hadleigh, Suffolk. The Head of Technical will play an integral part in the management of the Special Products technical offering, processes, budget, and team management.

Salary: Up to £75k DOE, plus car or car allowance of £6k, plus excellent benefits.

Hours of work: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Head of Technical Responsibilities:

  • Promote company growth via technical development & technical services to win new business.
  • Provide excellent proactive technical support & training to our sales teams and new & existing customers.
  • Assist in the development of technical and marketing collateral.
  • Assist with compliance by management of the Technical File & CRM engagement.
  • Strive for enhancement within product range & technical offering.

The successful candidate:

  • Degree level education in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 years’ experience within a technical function for a manufacturer.
  • Expert level fire and acoustic materials knowledge.
  • Expert level understanding of building regulations and certification, construction, and interiors and fit outs.
  • Experience of NPD process and lean processes.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • Experience of managing and developing a team.
