Mech Tech Professionals have an opportunity available for an EC&I Construction Manager to work on a temporary contract based in Reading, Berkshire. Our client, one of the UK\’s leading engineering and maintenance providers, require a competent professional to start with them immediately. This project scope is Outside IR35. Overview: Whilst working at an atomic weapon establishment, the EC&I Construction Manager (Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Construction Manager) will oversee the installation and construction activities related to electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation/industrial or infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: * Planning and coordination of EC&I construction work to meet project timelines and quality standards * Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently * Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities * Managing contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. * Building effective project teams and manage resources ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and high workforce productivity * Assess programmes of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme * Ensure that suitable commercial control is in place and managed accordingly Skills & Experience: * Security Clearance (Essential) or/candidates must be eligible to obtain SC clearance * HNC/HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical field) * Project Management qualification (preferred) * Strong understanding of NEC contract management (preferred) * Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry Further details to be discussed during the on-boarding stage
