We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our clients growing Facilities Management / Construction team. This role involves preparing accurate project cost estimates, quotations, and bills of materials for a range of building maintenance, refurbishment, and construction works. The successful candidate will carry out site surveys, analyse drawings and specifications, and produce commercially viable quotations that meet client requirements and company profit margins.
Estimator Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, and tender submissions
- Conduct site surveys and develop scopes of work
- Analyse construction drawings and specifications
- Produce detailed Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure quotations meet agreed SLAs
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Support project planning and delivery
Skills & Experience
- Experience as an Estimator / Construction Estimator / FM Estimator
- Background in Facilities Management, Construction, or Building Services
- Strong cost estimation, tendering, and commercial awareness
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong Excel and computer skills
- CAD experience beneficial
- Knowledge of Sage 200 desirable
- CSCS, IOSH, or SMSTS advantageous
- Willing to frequently travel around customer estate, UK wide
