We're looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a well-established manufacturing team based in Bridgend.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with FMCG experience to play a key role in ensuring efficient production and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a 12-week Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Produce weekly production schedules that optimise manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure the timely availability of production materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Work closely with Production Managers to maintain production flow and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain planning system accuracy and prepare reports to support the Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production plans are delivered successfully.

The successful candidate

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Planning, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a Production Planning role within an FMCG manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
