Mech Tech Professionals have an opportunity available for a competent Administrator to apprehend a fixed-term position based in Royston, Hertfordshire. Our client, one of the UK's largest design and build contractors within the Water, Pharmaceutical, Power & energy, Nuclear and Food & Beverage industries require a competent professional to join their team immediately.

Fixed Term Contract Competitive Salary + Benefits

The shift pattern will be 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Overview:

Whilst holding a critical role, the administrator will perform various administrative tasks that will include overseeing the overall office management.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Ordering office supplies, updating and maintaining records, scheduling meetings, and booking in site visitors.
  • Reviewing previous day gate times, daily allocation sheets, holiday / authorised absence forms.
  • Carrying out payroll submissions - working to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Coordinating and liaising with offsite remote payroll support.
  • Handling Workforce queries raised on site addressed through daily interaction with the supervisors.
  • Managing sickness/lateness of workforce.
  • Carrying out Data reviews and validations from multiple sources.
  • Uploading data into systems / spreadsheets.

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Proficient & competent with Office 365.
  • Previous site-based administration experience would be preferable.
  • High attention to detail, competence with data entry and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the NAECI agreement would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (Desired).
