Our client is a thriving M&E Contractor with offices in the Midlands area. They are looking for 2 Electrical Estimators to join their dynamic Pre-Contract estimating team based in Wolverhampton; one assistant level, one intermediate. These roles present an exciting opportunity to contribute to their continued growth and success.

The role responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed tender bids and cost plans
  • Attend mid and post tender meetings
  • Exercise post tender control
  • Interface with both existing and prospective clients
  • Communicate and collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers, nurturing existing relationships and developing new leads

Candidate attributes and skills:

  • Work experience in the electrical building services field
  • Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of Electrical services, with ideally some familiarity with mechanical engineering services
  • Efficient in tender management preparation and submittal
  • Extensive supplier and subcontractor network
  • Excellent commercial acumen to ensure financial viability of tenders
  • Deadline adherence
  • Competence in 'Trimble Estimation' software and electronic tender document control systems is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills to ensure efficient teamwork and maintenance of positive relationships
