We're recruiting on behalf of a growing manufacturing business for an experienced Head of Finance to lead the finance function and sit on the Senior Management Team.
The Role
You’ll own all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and compliance, while driving process improvements and supporting strategic decision-making. You’ll also lead a small finance team and manage key external relationships (auditors, insurers, bankers, IT partners).
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly P&L, margin analysis and management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow and credit control oversight
- Payroll approval and HR system support
- VAT & global compliance (UK/EU/ROW)
- Costing insights and system improvements (Sage 200)
About You
- Qualified accountant or QBE
- 5+ years in manufacturing/stock-based business
- Strong Sage 200 & Excel skills (Power BI a plus)
- Detail-focused, commercially minded, confident communicator
