The Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our client's MEP team. Our client is a successful M&E contractor and you will be working on a new build, office block project on a MOD base - £8 million electrical value - alongside a highly reputable main contractor. You will be overseeing the installation of sub-main distribution systems, containment, small power, lighting etc.
Responsibilities
- Taking the lead on the electrical installation side of things for your assigned project.
- Making sure everything meets the required safety, quality, and legal standards.
- Working closely with design teams and clients to make sure the designs are practical, efficient, and fully compliant.
- Keeping on top of project controls like change management, risk, and quality assurance.
- Supporting and leading your project team, setting clear expectations and helping everyone perform at their best.
- Keeping things on schedule and within budget, making sure targets are hit without compromising on quality.
- Managing key responsibilities and documentation, especially when it comes to electrical works.
The Candidate
- A strong technical background in Electrical Services and a good understanding of safety practices.
- A relevant qualification in the field.
- CSCS and SMSTS accreditation (minimum).
- Experience overseeing electrical installations on large construction projects.
- You’ll need to be eligible for basic Security Clearance due to the nature of the work.
