Mechanical Project Manager\\n\\nLocation: West London (Ealing Hospital)\\nProject Value: Circa £10m\\nProgramme Duration: To March 2027\\nSector: Healthcare / Built Environment\\nSalary: Competitive + package\\n\\nMech Electrics is recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager to deliver a £10m hospital decarbonisation project at Ealing Hospital, leading heat pump installation and de‑steaming works across a live NHS campus, with a long‑term role in a London delivery team.\\n\\nAbout Us – Mech Electrics\\n\\nMech Electrics is a specialist recruitment partner operating across the built environment, supporting MEP contractors and energy delivery businesses working on complex, operational estates.\\n\\nWe’re working in close partnership with a leading delivery organisation on a long‑term programme of healthcare decarbonisation works across London, and have been appointed to manage recruitment for this role.\\n\\nThe Opportunity\\n\\nThis role starts with Ealing — but it doesn’t end there.\\n\\nAt Ealing Hospital, a £10m mechanical decarbonisation project is underway, focused on:\\n\\n * Removing legacy steam systems\\n\\n * Installing modern low‑carbon heat pump plant\\n\\n * Upgrading mechanical infrastructure across a live NHS campus\\n\\nThe project runs through to March 2027, after which the successful candidate will become a key member of the London delivery team, supporting further projects across the region.\\n\\nThis is a genuine long‑term opportunity, not a single‑project posting.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nAs Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of mechanical delivery on the Ealing project and play a key role within the wider London team.\\n\\nResponsibilities include:\\n\\n * Leading mechanical delivery on a live healthcare estate\\n\\n * Managing programme, cost, quality and risk\\n\\n * Coordinating de‑steaming works and heat pump installation\\n\\n * Managing mechanical subcontractors and site teams\\n\\n * Working closely with consultants to resolve design and delivery issues\\n\\n * Planning work to minimise disruption to clinical operations\\n\\n * Owning RAMS, sequencing and safe systems of work\\n\\n * Driving commissioning, handover and project close‑out\\n\\n * Integrating into the wider London team for future projects\\n\\nYou’ll be trusted to run work autonomously, with visibility and backing from the regional team.\\n\\nWhat We’re Looking For\\n\\nThis role suits a Mechanical Project Manager who is looking for stability, responsibility and longer‑term progression.\\n\\n * Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager\\n\\n * Background in healthcare, public‑sector or complex buildings\\n\\n * Experience delivering works in live environments\\n\\n * Exposure to low‑carbon plant, energy upgrades or plant replacement\\n\\n * Strong stakeholder and site‑based leadership skills\\n\\n * Solid understanding of mechanical building services\\n\\n * SMSTS (or equivalent)\\n\\n * Full UK driving licence\\n\\nWhy This Role Stands Out\\n\\n * £10m flagship hospital decarbonisation project\\n\\n * Programme secured through to March 2027\\n\\n * Long‑term position within a London delivery team\\n\\n * Meaningful work with real environmental benefit\\n\\n * High level of trust, autonomy and responsibility
