The Client
Our client is one of the UK’s leading building services engineering companies with an annual turnover in excess of £250m. They currently require an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to work in Leeds city centre on a sizeable, new build residential project set to last for around 12 months.
The Role and its Responsibilities
- To support the project mechanically from 'cradle to grave'
- Providing technical support to testing operatives
- Inspections of installations and site
- Checking and final sign off of installations
- Organizing site teams
- Working to H&S regulatory standards
- Attending meetings on projects
- Management of sub-contractors
The Individual
A suitable candidate should have extensive experience in a Mechanical Site Manager or Supervisor role and will have worked their way up from the tools. The role needs a confident individual who can work in a sometimes-pressurised environment, a team player and leader! You must be organised and motivated and be able to lead your team effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering qualifications
- SSSTS/SMSTS
- Knowledge of current H & S legislation
- Experience working on sizeable installation projects from 'cradle to grave'
- Any residential project experience is a bonus
