About the company: Our client is a thriving contractor in the building services industry, specializing in electrical & mechanical solutions & working with many key, blue-chip clients.

Position Overview: They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join the team based on a new-build office block project in Leeds centre - Electrical Value of £5 million - 7 floors & 2 roof levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 'cradle to grave' electrical installations on commercial or public buildings, up-to-date qualifications, and the ability to lead and coordinate electrical projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Coordination: Oversee electrical installation project from 'cradle to grave', ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high-quality standards throughout the electrical installation process. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team's performance meets project objectives.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols on-site. Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance to minimize risks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports and progress documentation. Report project status to project managers and senior management as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Electrical Qualifications: Possess relevant electrical qualifications and certifications including SSSTS or SMSTS, ECS & 18th edition.
  • Building Services Experience: Demonstrated experience in electrical supervision within the building services sector.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
