We’re looking for 2 x Mechanical Site Managers for works across live buildings at Gatwick as part of their long-term decarbonisation scheme. You’ll be working for one of the UK’s leading renewable energy contractors and overseeing day‑to‑day mechanical site activity, managing subcontractors and safety on complex, operational projects.
This role is fully site‑focused, managing mechanical works within occupied buildings where safety, coordination and clear communication are essential. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and supervisors to ensure daily activities run safely and efficiently.
The Role
- Manage day‑to‑day mechanical site works
- Supervise subcontractors and site labour
- Enforce health & safety standards
- Review and implement RAMS
- Coordinate works with other trades
- Monitor quality and progress on site
- Support testing, commissioning and handover
You’ll be the visible mechanical lead on site, keeping standards high and work moving.
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical Site Manager or Senior Supervisor experience
- Strong mechanical trade background
- Comfortable working in live environments
- Strong understanding of site safety and sequencing
- Confident managing subcontractors
- CSCS desirable
- NVQ Level 6 or 7 desirable
- SMSTS (or SSSTS with solid experience)
- Full UK driving licence
