Mech Electrics is recruiting a Mechanical Project Manager for large‑scale building and energy works at Gatwick. You'll lead mechanical delivery across complex live buildings, managing plant upgrades and low‑carbon systems on a major operational estate.
The Opportunity:
- Major plant replacement
- Heat pump installation and integration
- Infrastructure upgrades across live buildings
You'll be involved from planning through delivery, working closely with site teams and stakeholders to keep works moving safely and efficiently.
The Role:
- Lead mechanical delivery across multiple live buildings
- Manage subcontractors, programme, cost and quality
- Coordinate plant installation and system upgrades
- Review design and resolve buildability challenges
- Plan works to minimise disruption to occupied buildings
- Own RAMS, sequencing and delivery strategy
- Drive commissioning and handover
