Our client is a reputable M&E contractor that has been in business for over 50 years. They have a busy order book with new-build/refurb projects across the North-West and want to further grow their electrical division. They’re looking for a practical, motivated Electrical Foreman (Working) to join them with a view to ultimately progressing to Electrical Supervisor (non-working) and even to Project Manager as the department grows. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the electrical department and your own career.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee and support electrical installs to current standards
- Carry out hands-on work alongside management tasks
- Maintain high Health & Safety standards
- Monitor and manage project timelines
- Lead meetings with site teams, clients, and management
- Test, certify, and sign off completed works
- Deliver small works projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Proactive, ambitious person ready for a challenge
- C&G 18th Edition qualification
- Experience in healthcare environments (ideal)
- Good understanding of electrical systems (HV, LV, commercial, industrial)
- Steady work history
- Ideally C&G 2391, SSSTS or above
- Helpful extras: Manual Handling, IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid
- Works well alone and in a team
- Full UK driving licence
