An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join a successful Tier 1 M&E contractor based in Warrington. You will be part of a pre-contract estimating team in a predominantly office-based role and will support the delivery of fast-paced tender and pre-construction activities across a range of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Education, Leisure, Industrial and Energy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of detailed electrical tenders and cost plans
  • Management of the tender process, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Attendance at mid- and post-tender meetings
  • Post-tender cost control and handover support
  • Liaison with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, including sourcing new supply chain partners
  • Working collaboratively within an integrated M&E team

Experience & Skills Required

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services, with ideally a good understanding of mechanical services
  • Experience estimating across multiple sectors
  • Familiarity with BREEAM, NABERS, Part L, and Smart Building technologies
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to produce financially robust tenders
  • Proactive, thorough, and flexible in approach to deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using Trimble Estimation software
  • Competent in electronic document control systems
  • Ability to maintain quality standards in line with QA procedures
