Roles & Responsibilities The main responsibilities of Logistics Administrator are to arrange export shipments and coordinate customer collections. The position will provide a clear link between customers, sales, warehouse, and freight providers. In addition, the current month sales risk file will be monitored and updated throughout the month. Compile packing lists
release delivery notes for planned shipments
administration support in booking and prebooking vehicles and containers to support timely collection of goods
support in completing export paperwork (i.e. EUR1, COO, customs information)
support in direction shipments/customer collections from other Mecc Alte locations
support month sales risk file to be updated to support a smooth shipment profile
other administratibe dutiea to support wider Sales & Operational planning team
Ideal skill set: min 2 years experience as Logistics Administrator in logistics/export processing
knowledge of exports/freight; container/trucking shipping globally
manufacturing environment background
Experience in export of goods from the UK
excellent communication skills
experience in a fast moving production/dispatch environment, ideally in a manufacturing industry
SAP system experience, or other ERP platform
