Mec-Com are looking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice to join their team. You will assist experienced quality engineers with the inspection and testing of materials, planning and executing projects and work closely with engineers to understand manufacturing processes and equipment.

In this role you will:
- Quality Control: Assist in inspecting and testing materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with the quality team to identify and address product defects, deviations, and non-conformities. Learn and implement quality control procedures to maintain and improve product quality.
- Project Management: Support project managers in planning, executing, and closing projects within established timelines and budgets. Assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders. Learn project management tools and methodologies to contribute to project success.
- Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to understand manufacturing processes and equipment. Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities related to equipment and process issues. Gain hands-on experience in implementing engineering solutions for process improvement.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available within the business.
