Are you passionate about providing children with a safe and enriched environment where they can creatively play at the end of their school day? If so, this could be the next career step for you. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a great after school provision for pupils within our school situated close to Yelverton
Meavy Primary is a small rural village school situated on the edge of Dartmoor where the children are at the heart of everything we do. Our children have a thirst for learning and our school is a happy and harmonious place to learn and grow. Our Christian values of Joy, Hope, Love, Wisdom and Respect underpin school life, and our school community values the contribution that every child makes. We seek opportunities to take the children’s learning outdoors wherever possible and our beautiful school grounds are the perfect place to start.
As an Afterschool Club Assistant, you will be working under the direction of the supervisor to provide a caring and secure environment for the pupils who attend the after‑school club. You will provide engaging activities for our children and develop good working relationships with children and parents alike. Candidates would need to be adaptable, enthusiastic and of a caring nature who love interacting with children and enjoy having fun! A paediatric first aid qualification is desirable (or a willingness to undertake one).
