Speech and Language UK’s Bill Harrison Assessment Centre is an Independent Assessment Service based on the site of Meath School. The multi-disciplinary team includes specialist teachers, speech and language therapists and an occupational therapist.
We are seeking an experienced Educational Psychologist on a consultancy basis to undertake specialist educational assessments for children with SEND.
About the Consultancy Role
- Consultancy arrangement rather than a permanent employed position.
- Each assessment requires 2 days on site, followed by the completion of a written report.
- You will have considerable post-qualification experience, as well as experience working in an educational setting.
- You will be passionate about helping school-aged children with special needs reach their potential.

Our Assessment Centre
- Two well-stocked playrooms and dedicated office space.
- Administrative and clerical support is available.
- Support from an intern (psychology or linguistics student) during the year.
- Open term time only.
Requirements
- Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent).
- Professional qualification in Educational Psychology (Doctorate, Masters, or equivalent).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
