We are currently seeking Trainee Butcher Operatives who are eager to begin their careers with us!
About the Role
You will begin with a 12-week training program, working closely with our Senior Trainer. During this time, you’ll be trained on various tasks to ensure you meet the required skills and standards. As part of your training, you will be paired with experienced butchers on the moving line, helping you adjust to the fast-paced environment, get to know the team, and gain confidence in the tasks you’ll be performing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, including:
- De-boning, Cutting, and Trimming: Master the skills to meet precise standards for quality and presentation.
- Health and Safety: Master workplace safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect cuts of meat to meet industry standards.
- Equipment Handling: Gain experience with butchery tools and machinery.
- Time Management: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute effectively to team success.
- Animal Welfare: Understand humane handling and ethical practices.
Throughout your journey, you’ll receive full support and coaching, with hands-on training from experienced team members.
