The position involves working Monday to Friday from 05:30 am until finish, with available overtime.
Our Merthyr site is currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly, passionate team.
- Previous knife skills and butchery experience in fast-paced food manufacturing are required;
- Work well as part of a team with a positive can-do attitude;
- Follow instructions and procedures effectively;
- Be willing to gain new skills and experience;
- Good rates of pay: £13.42 – £19.42, depending on experience and ability after passing the knife test;
- Core hours are from 05:30 am to finish, Monday to Friday, with available overtime.
Requirements
- Follow specifications and demonstrations from line managers, supervisors, or quality control personnel;
- Use knives and tools in a safe manner to perform meat cutting and trimming;
- Understand that your role is key to the effective operation of the line, with specific responsibilities to ensure production runs efficiently;
- Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures, including wearing the correct PPE.
