Job Description: Production Operative – Rotherham
Rate of Pay: £11.44 / hour

Purpose of the Role & Job Brief
Underwood Meat Company is looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives in its fast-paced meat production facility.

Main Responsibilities
The job entails a broad remit of duties, these will include:

1. Preparing meat products efficiently to customer and company requirements.
2. Packaging complete orders to customer specifications.
3. Ensuring compliance with metal detection procedures.
4. Maintaining stock rotation in finished goods areas.
5. Keeping work area clean and tidy at all times and disposing of waste in the appropriate manner.
6. Following the company hygiene rules and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
7. Making basic decisions related to the standard of product produced.

The employee will receive on-the-job training in all required tasks.

Hours of Work
Monday to Sunday 06:00 to 14:30 (5 out of 6 days, Sunday will be on a rota basis. Saturday is currently not a working day)

Job Location
Within the factory at our Rotherham Head Office; positions are also available at our other locations.
