Production Operative
Pay Rate Shifts: £12.61 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Location: Pontefract, WF8 3DD
Hours: 6:00am to 6:00pm, 38.5 hours per week
Schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday only
We are a family business established in Yorkshire in 1997, based in Darrington just outside Pontefract, with a reputation for exceptional product quality, innovation, and industry-leading animal welfare standards. Our facilities combine traditional British butchery techniques with advanced technological capabilities in the food sector.
A dedicated team of over 700 staff oversee the entire process, from procuring livestock from carefully selected farms, through butchery, retail packaging, and dispatch, to final delivery on supermarket shelves or in restaurants.
About you:
- No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
- Able to work well individually or as part of a team.
- Capable of maintaining high standards to complete daily tasks.

- Be part of our production team performing tasks such as moving, packing, stacking, storing, weighing, labelling, and preparing Dovecote Park products.
- Operation of machinery.
