Role: Process Operative/Production Operative
Salary: Β£12.67 per hour
Shift: 0600-1400 & 1400-2200
Location: Grimsby, Laforey Road

What we are looking for: We are looking for a Process Operative to ensure all products are assembled correctly, to product specification, at the required food safety standard and line speeds. To assist the Team Leader and production team to achieve operational targets and plans. Works collaboratively with other functions, taking a hands-on approach, and providing support where required, outside core functional responsibilities.
Key responsibilities as a Process Operative/Production Operative will include:
- Be flexible in working, as there is a requirement to work in various line positions and areas of the factory. Tasks will include placement, filling and assembly of items, assembly of packaging, movement and collection of items.
- Ensure full conformance to all safety rules, and that all practices comply with Health and Safety policies and training.
- Ensure the product is handled correctly and efficiently, ensuring the visual standard of the product is achieved, including distribution, and that correct quantities conform to line specifications.
- Meet targets for the line, specifically safety, quality, service, and cost.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and technically conforming at all times.
- Maintain legal requirements of all materials and processes to produce safe food. Deliver the quality line standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Check the environment for issues as required and report all defects, both on safety and quality, immediately to the Team Leader.
- Communicate all ideas for improvements.
- Communicate and act upon instruction from the Team Leader or other management, including their deputies.
- Promote company property, including equipment, with required care and attention to eliminate careless damage.
- Adhere to TR077 at all times.
