Reporting to the Head of Commercial, Retail, this position will play an integral part in developing existing and future sales within the company.Responsibilities The Role:Build strong integrated relationships with customers across various departments, incorporating regular visits to the customers head officeCreate and manage strategic joint business plans with the customer, designed to drive category growthPartner with NPD to innovate new ideas to maximise new market opportunitiesDesign and deliver strong promotional activity for the customer that drives volumeOversee the arrangements for the set up any new product launches and ensure that all components are correct in advance of first productionProvision of accurate sales forecastsUndertake range reviews and provide a comprehensive range analysis to improve sales within the department, in line with the customer\βs development process.Work in a cross functional team, co-ordinating category plans and liaising with category/marketing; product development; supply chain and TechnicalTo understand the category and the current market position in comparison to other retailers and discountersUndertake any other ad hoc requests from internal management or the customerQualifications The successful candidate will have:Ideally, 2 years\β experience in a similar role working within a manufacturing environment supplying within a Major Retailer or Food Service sectorThe role requires travel and visits to the customer, various stores, and Dunbia Group sites, so a full clean Driving License is essential.Proficiency in the use of MS Office is essentialExcellent communication and organisational skills are essentialAn ambitious, customer focused team player, highly flexible, motivated, and proactiveShow strong leadership and management skills whilst acting in a Professional manner at all timesWill be committed to working within the Company Values.Role based at Dunbia\βs site in Preston.Predominantly working as part of Dunbia\βs commercial team but the role will require cross-functionality working alongside other departments including Technical, Agriculture, Product Development & Insight.Full on the job training will be provided.Death in Service SchemeSubsidised CanteenSeasonal meat packagesSite Engagement Activities31 days holiday inc 8 days Bank HolidaysExcellent opportunities for progression within the business across a variety of departmentsUnique role allowing you to see both sides of operations across both supplier & retailer within the FMCG industry.Keep up to date with the latest news, products and special offers.I have read and agree to the terms of the privacy policy.
