Hilton Foods are looking for a Hygiene Team Manager. This role plays a key part in leading the Hygiene and Domestic Teams, ensuring that all standards are achieved and targets are met. You will be responsible for managing the team’s performance, timekeeping and delivery of team KPI’s. Flexibility to cover all shifts may be required.
As a Hygiene Team Manager some of the responsibilities will be to:
- Lead the overall hygiene infrastructure including relevant systems, equipment and documentation.
- Drive hygiene awareness and improvements across the business.
- Lead reporting – relating to achievements, non-conformances, corrective actions and future strategy.
- Lead & Oversee a team of Hygiene Team Leaders ensuring duties are carried out correctly & efficiently to meet / exceed expectations of the business.
- Lead & Oversee a team of Domestic cleaners ensuring duties are carried out correctly & efficiently to meet / exceed expectations of the business.
- Ensuring Quality standards are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain factory GMP/Hygiene standards to exceed customer expectation.
- Mentoring & Training team members.
- Time & Attendance management.
- Work together with the Hygiene Manager to ensure that factory and facilities cleaning requirements are met within agreed deadlines, making best use of resources and materials.
- Ensure cleaning and training documentation is fulfilled in line with customer codes of practice.
- Other reasonable requests from your line management to fit with the business strategy and objectives.
To succeed as a Hygiene Team Manager we ask that you have the following experience/expertise:
- 3-5 years’ Hygiene or Technical experience within the food industry.
- Strong people and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to be logical and methodical in your approach.
- A full driving license is desirable but not essential.
