Tuesday – Saturday 06:00 – 15:00

About the role:

AsDespatch Operativeyou’ll mainly be working with frozen products, helping to pick, store, load and unload deliveries using a reach truck. So, you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Picking, storing and documenting products.
  • Using reach truck and other FLTs to load, unload and store product.
  • Quality checking, wrapping and palletising products.
  • Stacking frozen and chilled products.
  • Loading and unloading trailers.
  • Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Current reach licence or ability to prove competency.
  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
