We have an exciting opportunity for Chiller Operative to join our team at Pilgrim’s Europe – Bodmin!

Successful candidate will ensure that the chillers area are well maintained and meets hygiene standards at all times. You will be responsible for PPT safety checks and that all equipment is in good working order. You will also be correctly issuing feedstock to lines, put stock away and perform stock checks to be carried on month end.

This role does not require previous experience and candidates who wish to progress and learn new skills will be provided with full support and training to succeed!

It would be desirable for candidates to have

• A good understanding the basics of health and safety law including your personal responsibilities
• A responsibility to create a culture of awareness of, and commitment to the highest standards of quality & food safety and as such they must lead by example
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
• Positive thinking and self-motivation
• Ability to use own initiative
• An excellent attitude to work
• A hands-on approach to solving issues
