measurable.energy is dedicated to creating innovative energy solutions. Our mission is to eliminate all wasted energy in buildings, significantly reducing global carbon emissions. By combining machine learning technology with behavioural change, we aim to automate the process of finding and removing energy waste at scale. Our vision is to have our plug sockets in every commercial and residential building globally, empowering everyone to minimize their carbon emissions.
This role will be primarily focused on PCB layout and design, you must be an expert in Altium. The role will also require schematic review and optimisations and new designs etc, but to be clear, layout is a big part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:- PCB Design: Expert in Altium design software for creating and modifying PCB layouts.
- AC Voltage: Experience working with AC level voltages.
- BOM Management: Ability to manage Bill of Materials (BOM) efficiently.
- Value Engineering: Demonstrable experience in value engineering to optimise cost and performance.
- AC/DC Conversion: In-depth knowledge of AC/DC conversion principles.
- Signal Routing: Proficient in routing SPI, I2C, and ADC signals.
- Circuit Debugging: Experience in debugging and analyzing circuits using test equipment.
- Testing: Design and run suitable tests for hardware validation and performance.
- Proven experience in electronic design and PCB layout.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in energy metering and/or IOT space is advantageous.
