We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Operative to join our Estate Management team. This is a hands-on role requiring a mix of practical ability, customer service, and teamwork. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that help maintain our properties to a high standard.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain gardens, hedges, and external pathways.
- Remove snow and apply grit during winter months.
- Weed spraying and grass cutting for communal areas.
- Act as a visible presence on estates, providing reassurance and customer service.
- Conduct daily or weekly inspections of estates to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations for cleaning chemicals and PPE use.
- Maintain communal areas, stairwells, lifts, bin stores, and external spaces to high standards.
- Remove litter, bulky waste, graffiti, and ensure safe, hygienic conditions.
Criteria:
- Able to drive a 3.5 tonne flat back.
- Previous experience in estate management/ground maintenance.
- Full UK Driving licence.
