Location: Coatbridge.
Full‑time, permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00‑16:30. The role requires on‑call duties 1 in 5 weeks; an additional allowance will be paid.
About the Role
You will be part of a local team undertaking high‑standard carpentry and joinery repairs to housing properties, delivering best‑in‑class customer service while complying with all safety, quality and cost‑control standards.
- Carry out all required joinery works, including routine repairs, quick repairs, lock changes and boarding up windows.
- Provide high levels of customer care at all times.
- Kitchen repair and partial kitchen installation.
- General repairs and maintenance in social housing.
Key Criteria
- Experience in carpentry and joinery.
- UK full valid driving licence.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in carpentry & joinery trade discipline.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Numeracy skills.
- People skills.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to use a PDA following training.
