As a Bricklayer your role will involve performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks, such as flagging, blocking holes, repairing pavements and walls and cleaning cavities, all while ensuring high standards and adherence to budget and time constraints.
You must have the necessary certifications and maintain a professional demeanour when interacting with customers and stakeholders, gathering feedback as needed. Utilising a handheld device (PDA) for task management, timesheets, and stock control is essential. Additionally, you\’ll be responsible for keeping company assets in good condition, managing materials, attending meetings and training sessions.
As a bricklayer, you will have the know how to deliver on the following responsibilities:
- External works/civils, hard and soft landscaping and groups maintenance
- Working alongside colleagues to develop a robust planning strategy
- Construction of paving, brickwork, concreting and rendering
- Exceptional people skills, required to build a strong and long lasting experience to our clients.
Role Criteria:
- NVQ level 2 qualification in bricklaying
- Previous hands-on experience as a Bricklayer
- Have own hand tools
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Preferably, knowledge of other core trades such as carpentry, plumbing other external work
