Salary up to £36,745.43 per annum, plus company vehicle & fuel card.
About the Role:
This role involves a variety of tasks related to property maintenance and refurbishment, including bathroom and kitchen fitting, general joinery, and plumbing. Responsibilities include installing and repairing fixtures, cabinets, and appliances, as well as hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, and ensuring all plumbing systems are installed and functioning correctly. As part of a local team, the goal is to deliver high-quality repairs and refurbishment services to housing properties, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety, quality, and cost control standards.
Key Criteria:
- Core trades in joinery and plumbing, additionally plastering and tiling.
- Previous experience in the trade.
- UK full driving licence.
- Provide own hand tools.
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship. To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points. Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
