Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday- Friday)

About the role:

As a Plumber you will be working with Milton Keynes city council providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. As a Plumber with our Milton Keynes branch, you will undertake a wide range of plumbing repair and maintenance tasks within occupied properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Reactive plumbing repairs including minor works
  • Small repairs such as leaking taps and plumbing systems
  • Changing baths and carrying out basic plumbing installations
  • Working independently on most jobs, with support from colleagues on larger works
  • Using a handheld device to record works, timesheets and photographic evidence
  • Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment to required standards
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication with residents
  • Adhering to all health and safety, quality and cost control requirements

Key Criteria:

  • NVQ qualification or proven experience in plumbing
  • Experience of working within social housing environments
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, friendly and customer focused approach
