Contract: Full-time / Maternity Cover / Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

We are now looking for a talented and strategic Brand & Design Manager to cover maternity leave, that will help shape and elevate our brand. This is a key role where you will drive how Mears is seen, experienced, and remembered, ensuring we are recognised as a leading housing solutions provider and a great place to work.

You will take ownership of our brand identity, ensuring consistency, creativity, and impact across all channels while supporting our commercial growth ambitions.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Group Brand and Design Plan, ensuring Mears is consistently showcased at its very best. You will take ownership of the visual identity, evolving and strengthening the brand to ensure it remains relevant, impactful, and aligned with business ambitions. This includes overseeing all external branding and marketing collateral, maintaining and enhancing brand guidelines, and ensuring consistency across both digital and offline channels through regular audits. You will lead the creation of high-impact brand campaigns, working closely with internal teams and external agency partners, while also managing budgets associated with brand and design activity. A key part of the role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and deliver effective, creative solutions. You will also oversee content creation, including photography, video, and presentations, to bring the Mears story to life, while managing external creative and digital partners.

Key Criteria:

  • Experience in a graphic design or brand management role
  • Experience with graphic design software including the Adobe suite
  • Proven experience working with marketing teams and/or design agencies
  • Strong understanding of brand management within a large B2B organisation
  • Knowledge of digital marketing analytics to inform design decisions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to think strategically while delivering practical solutions
  • Confidence to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels
  • Creativity with a strong commercial mindset
