Full Time Salary up to £29,488.20 per annum, plus company van and fuel card
42.5 hours per week Monday – Friday

About the Role
As a General Operative, you will be working on our SHDF retrofit programme within the social housing background, providing a stable and profitable contract, delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. Providing front facing support and advice as required and delivering proactive communication throughout the works life cycle. Putting the customer at the heart of everything we do; ensuring we meet the needs of the business, our clients, and our customers.
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up of the site office
- Removal of waste from site
- Handle and transport materials safely and efficiently
- Support skilled tradespeople in retrofit activities
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks to support retrofit goals
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a high standard of work quality and attention to detail
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Report any issues or concerns to the site supervisor promptly
- Participate in site meetings and provide input on project improvements
- Take initiative and ownership in undertaking allocated tasks and supporting delivery of planned works activities aiming for a first time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters
- Provide high levels of customer care at all times
- Responsible for working at heights

- Knowledge of PAS 2035 domestic retrofit
