General Operative Annual salary: up to £35,000.00 Location: Bexley Contract type: Permanent, Full‑Time
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Responsibilities Carry out void clearances within vacant houses, flats, and maisonettes.
Remove unwanted furniture, household items, rubbish, and waste from properties.
Operate company vehicles, including flatbed and tipper trucks, to transport waste and materials (training provided).
Support environmental cleaning activities across residential properties and communal areas.
Carry out deep cleans of vacant properties to lettable standards.
Clean and sanitise kitchens, including cupboards, worktops, sinks, tiles, and appliances where applicable.
Deep clean bathrooms and toilets, including descaling, disinfecting, and removing mould and limescale.
Wash down walls, doors, skirting boards, and other internal surfaces as required.
Clean internal windows, frames, and windowsills.
Vacuum, mop, and treat a variety of flooring types.
Remove cobwebs, dust, and debris from properties and communal areas.
Dispose of waste safely and in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
Complete final quality inspections to ensure properties meet required standards.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or repair requirements to the supervisor.
Capture before and after photographs where required.
