We’re currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Joiner to join our team in Dundee. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties, helping ensure residents’ homes are safe, functional, and well maintained. You’ll be responding to a variety of day-to-day repair requests, including tasks such as replacing internal doors, repairing skirting boards and architraves, fitting kitchen units/bathrooms, and carrying out general carpentry works. No two days are the same, and your ability to work efficiently, solve problems on-site, and provide excellent customer service will be essential.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs in social housing properties as part of a responsive maintenance service
  • Replace and repair internal doors, frames, handles, locks, and hinges
  • Fit and adjust kitchen units, bathrooms, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets
  • Install or replace skirting boards, architraves, and other decorative joinery
  • Repair or replace timber flooring, stair components, and handrails where required
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Accurately record job details, materials used, and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets

Role Criteria:

  • Experience fitting interiors
  • Site-based experience as a Joiner
  • Must hold a full UK manual driving licence
  • A great team player with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
