About the role
We are recruiting for a General Operative to join our team in Dover. In this role, you will support our trades teams with a range of general labouring duties, including:
- Assisting tradespeople with day-to-day works
- Carrying out void clearance and removing waste to skips or Thanet Waste facilities
- Undertaking garden clearance and minor landscaping tasks
- Completing general site labouring activities
- Driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle as part of the role
Duties:
- Support tradespeople with day-to-day maintenance and repair works
- Carry out general labouring duties across sites
- Undertake void clearance, including removal and disposal of waste
- Complete garden clearance and minor landscaping tasks
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised working areas
- Assist with transporting tools, materials, and waste between locations
- Drive a 3.5-tonne vehicle as required for operational duties
Role Criteria:
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment safely in line with health and safety requirements
- Previous experience in a general labouring or similar role
