Salary: up to £30,598 per annum, plus commercial vehicle & fuel card
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm
As a PAT Tester, you will be required to visit approximately 10 tenanted properties per day across the Northeast, travelling between locations as part of your daily duties. The role involves attending properties to test Mears supplied white goods, including fridges, kettles, microwaves, irons, hoovers and washing machines.
The successful candidate must:
- Accurately complete testing documentation, recording appliance details and electrical readings
- Capture clear before and after photographs of each item using a PDA, including images of the appliance and the PAT testing label
- Report any failed items promptly to the Facilities Supervisor
Appliances such as fridges and washing machines must not be removed, as replacements will be arranged by the Facilities Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Hold a PAT Testing qualification City and Guilds 2377 or equivalent
- Full UK driving license
- Happy to travel across the Northeast
- 25 days annual leave
