Annual salary: up to £15,704.00

Location: Govanhill – G42 postcode

Salary: £7.71 per hour, 40 hours per week including time at college. Tools, Chromebook, and uniform will be provided.

About the role:

During your apprenticeship within the Tannochside branch, you will be part of the wider team. Your main duties will be supporting the team with a general administration-based role. You will listen, observe, and participate in a range of tasks which will enable you to gain new skills and knowledge that contribute to the successful achievement of the apprenticeship programme. You are expected to maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance both in the workplace and at college, ensuring that all relevant work tasks and qualifications are achieved on time as instructed by your line manager and college. Attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions to ensure up-to-date business and job knowledge, communication, skills & progression are maintained.

Accountabilities:

  • Receiving inbound calls from customers/service users
  • Sending and responding to email communication
  • Logging and investigating repairs
  • Completing assignments – apprenticeship (2 hours a day provided towards working on assignments)

These assignments will be customer service based and will often relate to the work you are currently doing within your job role.

Role Criteria:

  • GCSE National 4 or above in both Math’s and English
  • The ability to learn and develop a thorough knowledge of the skills, technology, and safety procedures required to carry out the full range of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to understand and interpret work instructions
  • Be able to establish and maintain good customer/client relationships
  • Hardworking
  • Self-motivated
