**Business Readiness Analyst****Location:** Remote, must be UK based**Contract:** Permanent, Full Time**Salary:** £50,000 per annum plus benefits *As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will carry out a Background, Identity, Security Clearance & BPSS check. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Readiness Analyst to join a major strategic transformation programme focused on migrating housing management functionality from an existing housing management platform into our in-house platform. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a modern, scalable housing management solution that will support property management, tenancy management, landlord management, service user management, repairs integration and regulatory compliance. **About the Role:**As a Business Readiness Analyst, you will act as the bridge between operational stakeholders and technical teams throughout a major transformation programme. You will gather, analyse and document business requirements, support solution design activities and ensure business needs are represented throughout delivery.• Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with operational teams and stakeholders• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement• Document business requirements, user stories, process maps, workflows and functional specifications• Review and challenge current processes to support simplification and standardisation• Support solution design activities to ensure business requirements are fully represented• Work closely with developers, testers, project managers and operational teams throughout the project lifecycle• Assist with data migration requirements, validation activities and business readiness• Support User Acceptance Testing including test scenario creation, test scripts and defect triage• Ensure requirements support compliance with housing legislation and operational policies• Maintain requirements traceability from discovery through to delivery• Contribute to project governance, reporting and stakeholder communications **Key Criteria**:• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on business change, transformation or systems implementation projects• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills• Experience producing user stories, process maps, business requirements documents, functional specifications, UAT test scripts and gap analyses• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing competing priorities• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams• Good understanding of housing management, social housing, temporary accommodation, supported accommodation, lettings and allocations, tenancy management, property management or landlord management• Understanding of housing legislation and regulatory requirements• Willingness to travel across the UK with prior notice **Desirable Experience**• Experience working with housing management systems• Experience supporting data migration programmes• Knowledge of housing repairs and maintenance processes• Understanding of housing rent and tenancy administration• Experience working within large-scale transformation programmes• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments• Full UK driving licence **Benefits**• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays• Family friendly policies including enhanced maternity (14 weeks full pay, 12 weeks half pay and 13 weeks statutory pay), paternity (4 weeks full pay) and adoption leave• Employee Assistance Programme - free confidential support and counselling available• Mears Rewards offering discounts and cashback at leading retailers including travel, household items and shopping• Annual Mears Fun Day - Our annual Fun Day is organised as a massive thank you from the Executive team for all the hard work!• Volunteering leave – up to two days per year to support community initiatives• Cycle to Work Scheme• Share save scheme• Recognition and long service awards• Buy up to 5 days holiday each year depending on length of service• Learning and development opportunities• Career progression opportunities across Mears Group• Occupational health support• Green car scheme with Tusker after successful probation period• Be part of an inclusive workplace with access to a range of colleague networks and support groups focused on diversity, wellbeing and career development.
