About the Role:
We are looking for a General Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a team of ten other operatives. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality general repairs, planned works, and refurbishments to housing properties, while delivering best-in-class customer service and meeting all safety, quality, and cost control standards.
Main duties:
- Carry out a range of repairs and refurbishment tasks to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service to tenants and residents.
- Process all tasks electronically using a handheld device (PDA).
- Maintain all company-supplied assets in good condition in line with company policies. Report any damages to your supervisor or Manager.
- Manage materials effectively by using existing stock or collecting required items, following the company's purchasing and van stock control procedures.
Role Criteria:
- Experience working in social housing and council contracts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
