The shift pattern will consist of a combination of early and late shifts.
About The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join our team to cover a variety of shifts with a service user based in Ladysbridge/Banff.
The successful Support Workers will support in a range of tasks such as household tasks and maintenance of tenancy, personal care, administering medication, preparing nutritional meals and cooking and activities.

About The Service User
Our service user is a young man who has a severe learning disability, autism, epilepsy and Down\’s Syndrome. He engages in very little verbal communication but does respond well to visual support. At times he can enjoy his own company so staff would need to be able to tolerate long periods of quiet time.
Our service user has his own car and would require drivers as he likes to go out in the car, sometimes unexpectedly.
If any challenging behaviour is displayed staff must always follow the behaviour support plan to ensure both staff and service user are safe. All training will be given.

Requirements
All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK; Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your licence over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant Background, Identity & Security checks before commencement of employment.
