About The Role
We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team based in Stirling for a specific gentleman. We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Support Worker to support our service user to live an independent life and to enjoy social activities in the community.
A typical day will include support with medication, personal care, oral care and ensuring that appropriate clothes are selected for the day ahead. The service user’s day is very routine based. Support may be required both within and outside the home. The service user depends on constant reassurance. He can make choices on his meals but requires support to prepare his food and possibly assist with feeding. When at home the service user can mobilise independently but requires his wheelchair to access the community. Good communication is vital and he uses aids to support with this.
The Support Workers experience a variety of rewarding activities. Our customers are individuals and at Mears Supported Living we treat everyone as such.
